Jack Quickenden has called his baby son Leo “so strong” after he had an operation to correct a hernia Thursday.

In heart-warming video footage, the adorable little boy was already giggling and crawling around with his dad only hours later.

The 33 year old reality star kept his fans updated throughout the morning, as he worked out and kept his mind busy waiting for his son to finish surgery.

“He’s out and all went well…. thank god, never been so worried in my life,” the singer first shared in his Instagram Stories.

“He’s with Soph now in recovery!! Love you @sophie__church thanks for being so strong as well!!"

Jake went on to thank all his friends and fans for the “lovely well wishes,” and got ready for Leo’s return home by getting him a sweet present.

The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star showed his followers the new addition to his and Sophie’s living room – a giant baby obstacle course in a rainbow spotted print.

Jake explained that after watching Leo enjoy crawling under the table, he decided to get his son a tent and play area combo, which also featured a long tunnel to connect the two.

The star then joked it took up most of the living room but was worth it to see his little boy happy.

While Jake assumed Leo wouldn’t be able to play and crawl for a few days until the pain subsided, it wasn’t long before he showed fans that his baby was able to do just that.

“Hello, chicken nugget’s back and smiling already,” Jake cooed over his little boy's cot, as his girlfriend Sophie could be heard in the background: “He’s so brave.”

“You’re so strong, just like daddy,” the overwhelmed father praised, before sharing a beautiful post on his main grid.

“Baby boy is back,” Jake said next to a snap with his smiling son. “Honestly he’s so strong he’s crawling and smiling already.

“The nurse said he’s fine to do everything he wants, he won’t do anything that hurts.

“He blows my mind he’s such a little diamond and I just adore him.

“Also he loves his new play area, it takes up the entire living room but who cares right,” the star joked.

It comes as viewers watched Jake being forced to leave Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins after he suffered from an incredibly painful injury on the show.
