Coleen and Wayne Rooney recently celebrated 12 years of marriage with some sweet throwback photos of their special day.
The celebrity couple, both 34, had a wedding worth remembering as they celebrated with 64 friends and family with a stunning ceremony and reception in Italy in 2008.
But, being as the event was labelled as the showbiz wedding of the year, the celebrations didn’t stop there as the newly married couple boarded a multimillion pound superyacht to continue the party.
Here, we take a look at the photos from the couple’s incredible boat party in a collection of exclusive photos from OK! magazine…
After flying their nearest and dearest out to Italy to watch them tie the knot, Coleen and Wayne Rooney threw an incredible party on board a superyacht to end the amazing nuptial celebrations.
The picturesque party had a dress code of black and white.
Coleen wore a stunning white one-shoulder dress with glitzy silver embellishments around the waist and on the shoulder strap whilst Wayne kept things simple with a black suit and bow tie with a white shirt.
The couple’s boat party also had a masquerade theme, with guests and the bide wearing stunning masks to match their outfits.
Coleen and Wayne flew 60 of their closest friends and family to Italy to celebrate with them.
When asked about their big day, Coleen insisted it "wasn’t that big" and told OK! magazine at the time: "It’s not actually that big! I mean, the event is big but there aren’t that many people coming – about 60 people. I had a 21st last year and that had a lot more people attending."
Wayne and Coleen’s wedding celebrations were branded "the hottest wedding party ever".
Coleen had four bridesmaids on her big day – including her late sister Rosie McLoughlin.
Coleen’s parents were also on board to celebrate the couple’s wedding after Coleen’s dad Tony gave his daughter away in an emotional moment.
Speaking about her emotional day at the time, Coleen told us: "I just burst into tears – my makeup was everywhere."
Wayne’s brothers were in attendance as well as his then-teammates Michael Carrick, Wes Brown and John O’Shea.
Wayne told OK! magazine he knew Coleen was "the one" when they first met. He said: "Well when I first met her – I know this is something that’s sometimes said and I was maybe a bit naive at the time – even though I barely knew her, I had a feeling. Then, the more time we spent together the more I realised she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with."
Wayne was photographed with his new mother in law, Colette, while his new bride danced in the background.
The couple continued the celebrations into the night.
Coleen wore her hair in a classy up do and drop earrings.
Friends and family looked to be getting into the party spirit as they celebrated on the luxury boat.
The loved-up couple sang and danced together.
As they exchanged vows on their big day, footballer Wayne told his wife: "Coleen, you make me feel so special. I promise to love, cherish…
"Coleen, you make me so happy. I love you so much."
