Eva Mendes has made it clear we’re not going to be seeing any photos with Ryan Gosling any time soon.
The actress has been with the Notebook star since 2011 and they share two children, Esmeralda, five, and Amada, three.
However, just because they’re one big happy family doesn’t mean we’ll be seeing the family album, with Eva explaining how much the couple likes their privacy.
Replying to a comment on her Instagram over the weekend, Eva wrote: ‘Hi! I have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my man and my kids …
‘I’ll talk about them of course, with limits, but I won’t post pictures of our daily life.
‘And since my children are still so little and don’t understand what posting their image really means, I don’t have their consent. And I won’t post their image until they’re old enough to give me consent. (sic)’
She continued of her partner: ‘As far as Ryan and I, it just works for us this way, To stay private. Sending loads of love to you at this time. (sic)’
Saying she didn’t mind ‘explaining herself’ when fans wonder why she doesn’t share images of her partner, Eva had earlier shared an artwork to Instagram with the caption: ‘During these times, I’m so confused about what to post so I’m going to post things that move me in hopes that they move you as well. Since I don’t post my about immediate family, and it feels so wrong to post about work, here you go.’
It’s not the first time the Hollywood star has outlined the clear boundaries she has when it comes to what she does and does not share about her family.
Responding to a similar question from a follower last month, Eva wrote on social media: ‘As far as Ryan, I’ll only post flashbacks of things that are already ‘out there’ (like pics from movies we did or stuff like that.
‘My man and kids are private. That’s important to me so thanks for getting that. Have a beautiful day. Sending so much love!’
