Coronation Street stars Elle Mulvaney and Harriet Bibby enjoy fun night out

Coronation Street stars Elle Mulvaney, Harriet Bibby, Tanisha Gorey and James Jack Ryan have all enjoyed a night out together.

Jack – who recently made a return to the ITV soap as Jacob Hay – shared a photo on his Instagram story of Harriet, 23, Tanisha, 19 and Elle, 19, who plays friends Summer, Asha and Amy in the soap, as well as being friends in real-life.

The three women were all smiles as they enjoyed a break from their filming schedules, where they play school friends on the Corrie cobbles.

Elle Mulvaney – who recently wowed fans with a glammed-up selfie – was also spotted leaving the bar later.

The star wore a long-sleeved, floral dress, dark tights and boots as she enjoyed a well-deserved break from filming duties.

Elle has played Amy Barlow on Coronation Street since 2010 and her character could be set to get into trouble after the arrival of Jack’s character Jacob Hay.

Viewers will know Jacob as the bad-boy who got Simon (Alex Bain) involved in drug dealing, which eventually led to Harvey Gaskell’s (Will Mellor) arrival.

However, despite wanting a fresh start, some fans think there’s potential for him to lead Amy astray, after a romance is started between the pair.

The duo were spotted braving the cold weather to film on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal recently, laughing and joking as they enjoyed an outdoor picnic.

The Corrie location set, which wasn't far from the soap's Salford base, was dressed with a hamper, packed with picnic goodies.

Elle and Jack have struck up a friendship off screen too and they were spotted getting coffee together during a filming back recently.

Their upcoming storyline is thought to see the pair's relationship go even further but disaster strikes when Amy is rushed to hospital after her drink is spiked.

Her parents Steve McDonald and Tracy Barlow fear the worst and come to the conclusion she could've taken drugs, and that Jacob is the bad influence.

Jack recently explained what he thinks of his character, saying during a press conference: "I think he's always, in one way or another, going to be tied up in his unsavoury past.

"I think it's going to be a defining feature of him moving forward whether he likes it or not but I think he is genuinely wanting to change. He genuinely wants to be a better person and create a new life for himself."
