Ashley Cain's girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee has heartbreakingly admitted "everyday is getting harder" following the tragic death of their eight month old daughter.
Baby Azaylia passed away on Sunday after a battle with leukemia which began when she was just eight weeks old.
Her 34 year old mum has now taken to social media to break her silence after announcing the death, paying tribute to her "baba."
Saffiya shared an image of her and Azaylia in hospital alongside an animation of a character from The Lion King, alongside the tot's name and "Let's Go Champ," which was the saying the couple and their friends and fans shared for support for Azaylia during her battle.
She wrote: "I would like to take a moment out of my day to thank each and everyone of you for your heart felt messages, amazing videos that you have created for us, poems, candles that have been lit, balloons, music, flowers ect [sic].
"It's so beautiful. Everyday is getting harder but Azaylia taught me strength, and courage which she held 100% now I need to make her proud and do the same [sic]."
Safiyya continued: "I no your looking down on me [sic]," alongside emojis of an angel and an orange love heart.
"A special thank you to beautiful Azaylia for teaching all of us the true meaning of life. I'm honoured to be your mummy.
"Enjoy paradise baby & your new angel wings. Na night Baba," she finished alongside more orange heart emojis.
The message is the first time Safiyya has spoken out since announcing the death, when she said: "You are my Angel my heartbeat my soul, RIP my precious baby, you will always be with me like a handprint on my heart [sic]."
Former Ex On The Beach star Ashley has since paid his own heartfelt tribute, writing on social media: "My heart is shattered. You gave my life purpose, my face a smile, filled my heart with love and my soul with pride.
"I can't put into words my sadness and pain, there aren't words to describe it. I love you with every ounce of my body and I miss you so much already.
Ashley added that he was "taught more in 8 months than in his whole life", writing: "I don't know why you've been taken away from me and my heart aches in your absence.
Remembering Azaylia Cain
"But I promise you that your name with live on. I will carry your name across every ocean, along every road, to the top of every mountain and across the whole globe.
"Your name will live, your legacy will be remembered and I will seek peace in living as your vessel to continue inspiring, giving strength, spreading joy and saving lives in your name, with your spirit, as your father until we meet again."
Ashley added that he felt that his first born child had "saved his life" and that he was "honoured" to have been her father.
