Savvy mum uses two Ikea units to make a space-saving bed for her son in easy hack

A SAVVY mum has revealed how she created a space-saving bed for her son using two Ikea units.

Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing & Bargains UK she shared a snap of her nifty new furniture.

She explained that she had purchased four of Ikea’s Trofast units at £49 each and put them together before placing a mattress on top.

This left her son with plenty of storage space for toys and books without taking up any additional floor space.

Captioning her snap, the mum wrote: “A great way to make space and add storage.

“IKEA trofast units x 4 make a perfect single bed Base!! Cost £164 so not the cheapest option but great storage and my son loves it.”
