A MUM revealed how she made an amazing four-poster bed for her daughter using bargains from B&M and eBay.
Taking to the Facebook group DIY On a Budget, she shared snaps of her “dreamy” creation that cost her a grand total of £61 to complete.
She explained: “My daughter wanted a dreamy 4 poster bed for her bedroom ( and I wanted a project) so I created this.
“So easy to do and saved myself a lot of money!”
She revealed that the frames of the bed had been made using a gazebo costing £20 from B&M.
She purchased four panels of voile net curtains from eBay for the surrounds, at £22.
To give the bed a fairytale finish she used four 7ft artificial vines from eBay at £8 each finished with 200 battery powered rice lights, £11 also from eBay.
Describing her daughter’s reaction, she wrote: “She absolutely loved it, she had the idea in her head of how she wanted it and she said I had made it just as she’d imagined so it was all good thank goodness.”
Fellow group members were amazed by her creation, praising her handiwork in the comments.
“Oh fab, I want this for myself” said one, agreeing another added, “Wow I’m 34 and I would love this!! ?”
A third added: “It's beautiful, one very lucky daughter.”
