Meghan Markle latest news – Staff 'in tears' over Prince Harry's 'morbid obsession' with secrets about Archie's birth

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry's staff are said to be "in tears" at the couple's obsession with secrecy about Archie.

Rather than follow the usual royal pattern of releasing full details of a royal birth, Harry and Meghan refused to say where he was born.

Although some fans supported their decision, Prince Harry has remained "morbidly obsessed" with keeping information about Archie's birth top secret, royal expert Rebecca English claimed.

"Behind the scenes, matters were so fraught that more than one official — as I know from personal experience — was reduced to tears of frustration and despair," she claimed today.

SEX PISTOLS ICON SAYS HARRY SHOULD GIVE TAXPAYERS' MONEY BACK

God Save the Queen punk Johnny Rotten is spitting mad about Prince Harry — and says he should return the money he has cost the taxpayer.

The Sex Pistols icon insists Harry, 36, was selfish to ditch the Royal Family and move to LA with wife Meghan, 39.

Rotten, 65, real name John Lydon, said: “That Prince Harry, he’s making no effort to try and improve the situation — he’s just thinking of himself here.

“Well, hello. Give the money back.

“It’s a terrible thing to say because of course he can’t, he never asked for it in the first place but he’s making people resent him when he should have chosen a better route.”

MEGHAN ‘SHUT ME OUT AND ENDED RELATIONSHIP’ SAYS DAD

The Duchess of Sussex, 39, is said to have felt forced to write a “painful” letter to her dad after they reached “breaking point”.

Her lawyer Justin Rushbrooke QC described the 1,250-word letter as “a heartfelt plea from an anguished daughter to her father”.

But in a sensational witness statement, Thomas Markle claimed the letter was a “criticism” of him.

And he said it actually “signalled the end of our relationship” – rather than be the “reconciliation” letter pals claimed it was.

    "I think Harry is heartbroken.

"You don’t necessarily need to have the knowledge to know that, but I think it is true."
